General research interest is the role of epigenetic and post-transcriptional mechanisms in gene expression control.
Current Research activities:
  • analysis of miRNA mediated post-transcriptional regulation in the nervous system, in stress related behavior and related pathologies
  • study of miRNAs and RBPs crosstalk mechanisms
  • identification and characterization of circRNAs deregulated in autism spectrum disorders (Btbr mouse model).
  • chemical and post-transcriptional control of JARID1 HDMs in human breast cancer cell lines
